Five team members braved another early season race yesterday at the U.S. National Whitewater Center outside Charlotte.  Conditions were cool, clear, and thankfully dry compared to last year.  The “long course” runs were shortened to two 3-mile runs due to problems with the muddy runs last year.  Even so, it was a great chance to check out early season training for members and to enjoy another great FSSeries production.

In a very strong men’s field, Rob Ferris and Ken Younts raced solid and steady, Rob taking 4^th overall and Ken 8^th overall.   On the women’s side, JoAnna Younts placed second overall and Stacey Griffith 6^th overall.

Great job, and great start to a long season!
