Nasrin Azari and Jeanna Chain enjoyed warm, sunny weather and fast conditions racing Ironman 70.3 World Championships this last weekend, where record-breaking times were posted for both the men and women Pro’s. Because of rough water, the swim was moved from the ocean to the Harbor and the age group race format was changed to a time-trial start.
Both ladies had a great day, racing with consistency. Jeanna finished in 4:39:19, good for 15th in the 35-39 AG, and Nasrin, at 4:49:20, finished 18th in the 40-44. Ending the season on an exceptional note, the ladies celebrated their fabulous finishes later that evening listening to Reggae music on the beach.
Great job, girls!
