The Elite Triangle Triathlon team welcomes applications for new members on an annual basis. Athletes residing within the Triangle of Durham, Raleigh, and Chapel Hill are invited to apply to the team. Exceptions may also be made for athletes residing within 25 miles of the Triangle.
It is required that applicants race in the "Open" division of the NCTS in order to qualify for the team.
Potential team members are evaluated on the basis of race results, sportsmanship, visibility to local sponsors, and willingness to serve the larger triathlon community through team outreach events such as clinics and volunteer opportunities.
